A Garden with a History

In the 19th century, Count Sándor Vigyázó had the estate transformed into a romantic landscape garden.

We'll walk beside the lakes, cross the little bridges and see the old watermill, which dates back to 1890. You'll also see a rocky tunnel, a waterfall and a Gothic-style artificial ruin.

Flowers, Trees and Tropical Plants

Magnolias and rhododendrons flower in spring, followed by water lilies in summer. In autumn, the trees turn beautiful shades of red, orange and yellow.

When the greenhouses are open, we'll visit them too. Inside, you'll see palms, orchids, cacti and other plants from warmer climates.

Please note: The greenhouses are closed on Mondays, except on public holidays.

Optional Refreshment Stop

If you fancy a coffee, a snack or something sweet, we can stop for refreshments, depending on what's available on the day. Food and drinks are paid for separately.

The whole trip takes approximately five hours.

Best Time to Visit

We recommend this tour from spring to late autumn. Winter visits are not recommended, as most outdoor plants are dormant.
