Booking Terms and Conditions
See Hungary | Senia Travel & Tours
These Booking Terms and Conditions apply to private tours and activities booked through See Hungary (see-hungary.com).
See Hungary is operated by Senia Group Ltd, trading as Senia Travel & Tours, a travel agency registered and licensed in the Republic of Cyprus.
Please read these terms before booking.
1. Bookings and Confirmation
All tours are subject to availability.
Submitting a booking request does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking becomes binding only when we have sent written confirmation.
We reserve the right to decline booking requests before confirmation, subject to applicable law.
Once confirmed, a booking will not be displaced by a later request.
Guests are responsible for providing accurate booking information and informing us of any relevant changes.
2. Prices and Payment
Tour prices and the services included are shown on the relevant tour page.
Payment can be made by bank transfer to our Hungarian CIB Bank account or in cash at the start of the tour, as agreed when booking.
We do not accept online card payments.
Any additional costs payable by guests will be identified before booking.
Where advance payment has been agreed, the payment amount and deadline will be stated in the booking confirmation.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
We do not charge cancellation fees.
If you wish to cancel your booking, please inform us as soon as possible. Any advance payment will be refunded in full.
We may cancel a tour where circumstances make it unsafe, impracticable or impossible to operate. These may include severe weather, vehicle breakdown, road closures, safety concerns or other unforeseen events.
If we cancel your tour before it begins, you may choose an alternative available date or receive a full refund of the amount paid. You are under no obligation to accept an alternative date.
Refunds will be made within 14 days of cancellation, unless a shorter period is required by law. Bank processing times may vary.
Any claim for additional expenses or losses is subject to Section 8.
4. Changes to Tours
We may need to adjust an itinerary because of weather, traffic conditions, attraction closures, safety concerns or other circumstances affecting the tour.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide a suitable alternative while preserving the main purpose of the booked experience.
Minor changes to routes, timings or the order of visits do not automatically entitle guests to compensation where the agreed services are substantially provided.
If a significant change is necessary before departure, we will inform you and offer the choice of accepting the revised arrangements or cancelling for a full refund.
If a tour is interrupted after it has begun, we will assess any refund or other remedy in accordance with the services provided, the circumstances of the interruption and applicable law.
5. Health and Safety
Guests must follow reasonable safety instructions given by their guide or driver.
Guests are responsible for assessing whether an activity is suitable for their own health and physical abilities. Anyone with a medical condition that may affect safe participation should seek appropriate medical advice before booking.
Please tell us in advance about any assistance or accessibility arrangements you require so that we can assess whether these can reasonably be accommodated.
We may refuse or discontinue participation where a guest presents a genuine safety risk, seriously disregards safety instructions or behaves in a way that endangers others.
Where participation is refused or discontinued, any entitlement to a refund will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
We strongly recommend travel insurance covering medical treatment, personal belongings and the activities included in the booking.
6. Children
Children are welcome on our tours, subject to any minimum age requirements stated in the individual tour descriptions.
Parents and accompanying guardians are responsible for supervising children throughout the tour.
Appropriate child seats or restraints must be used where required by law. Please provide the ages of any children when booking so that suitable arrangements can be made.
7. Personal Belongings
Guests should take reasonable care of their personal belongings, including phones, cameras, passports and money.
Please check that you have all your belongings when leaving a vehicle or any location visited during the tour.
We are not responsible for loss or damage caused solely by a guest's own actions or failure to take reasonable care, unless we are legally responsible in the circumstances.
8. Responsibility and Liability
Senia Travel & Tours is responsible for fulfilling its contractual and legal obligations as the tour organiser.
Tours may be affected by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, restrictions imposed by public authorities and other exceptional circumstances.
Where such events prevent a tour from taking place, we will offer an alternative available date or a full refund in accordance with Section 3.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses, or additional expenses arising from cancellations, delays or disruptions, including accommodation, flights, alternative transport and other travel arrangements.
We are not liable for losses caused solely by circumstances beyond our reasonable control or by a guest's own actions, where we have not contributed to those losses.
Vehicle breakdowns and other operational difficulties will be dealt with in accordance with our contractual obligations and applicable law. A refund does not automatically exclude any further remedy required by law.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
